The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the honorees for the 8th Annual Patriots Luncheon honoring local veterans for their service to our nation and our business community.

The 2018 honorees are:

  • Aracely Jimenez, US Army – Operation Iraqi Freedom
  • George Lindstrom, US Marine Corps – Vietnam, Thailand
  • Tchicaya Missamou, US Marine Corps – Operation Iraqi Freedom
  • Jose Montenegro, US Army – Operation Iraqi Freedom
  • Dee Nance, US Army, National Guard – Vietnam
  • Richard J. Ramsey, US Navy – World War II
  • Dennis Ray Witzel, US Army - Vietnam

“We are proud of this year’s honorees having been selected from a larger than normal pool of nominations,” said Troy Hooper, Chairman of the SCV Chamber of Commerce.   “The Patriots Luncheon honors our veterans who have not only sacrificed for this country, but have been able to serve our Valley’s business community as well.”

This year’s luncheon will feature California Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Vito Imbasciani, to honor the veterans of our business community.

Veterans were nominated by chamber members and local residents and then selected by a committee which included veterans and business leaders.
