America’s Job Center of California will offer a Hiring Fest from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 31, as the culminating event to a month of workshops and classes designed to assist people in achieving their career goals. Employers and those seeking employment are invited to attend the Hiring Fest at the College of the Canyons University Center, located at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road, on the first floor in the main lobby area. This event is free and open to all members of the community and students. Interested attendees must pre-register by calling America’s Job Center of California at (661) 799-WORK (9675).

            Recruiters will be looking to fill a variety of full-time and part-time positions, so attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their résumé. The following organizations will be on site looking for qualified applicants to fill open positions:

  • Allied Universal
  • Behavior Learning Center
  • California Highway Patrol
  • Child Care Resource
  • Los Angeles County Department of Education
  • Los Angeles Police Department
  • People’s Care
  • State of California Department of Rehabilitation
  • Securitas Security Systems
  • U.S. Army Health Care

Free parking is available in Lot 14 during the Hiring Fest, located directly in front of the University Center.
